So, I have a job now, I'm working as a waitress at a small classy self owned restaurant. This week it hasn't really taken much of my time up. I have lots of time to draw finally! I've been in the need lately too.

I also thought about a sketchbook yesterday. Lots of great artists keep sketchbooks and I said to myself, why not I? So I went out and bought a really nice one with a great cover to inspire me. I'm going to start working more on my tattoo flash if I want to get better! You'll be seeing a lot more of that along with band artwork. I'm working on a thrashy style which is hard battling my sense of realism I was trying to accomplish before. I however will not stop drawing anime, don't worry! I just haven't in a while because I got so caught up in drawing assignments for school. It will return! I promise!

My brother recently started a new band and I was extremely surprised about how good they were. They are like thrash metal. I'm drawing up a sick logo/t-shirt design for them as we speak. Here is a link to their myspace [because you know every good band has one, rolf.] [link]
They are playing this weekend, Punk Island in NYC with 100 other different bands including my boyfriends band U.T.D. [[link] who has fairly new recordings done by Sean Paul of Anadivine. And one more band who some of you may know, Reagan Youth. It's a free show too, so try to make it!

Oh jeez, I am ranting again, I'll just cut this short and telling you that I love all of you. :D

ps- I got my septum pierced two days ago. sweeet.

Hey. Sorry I'm late to the party. Been a bit manic with life and work and stuff.

How's the job going?

Haha well, I quit. Waitressing is a lot harder than I though. So I am going to apply to be an actress for the local haunted hay ride. You might have heard about it on the travel channel, it's called The Headless Horseman in Ulster Park. Ever hear?
LOL.

Oddly, this talk of hay rides and hauntings does ring a bell. I'm pretty sure I read something about it in an inflight magazine. You know, when you're strapped into a seat for 8 hours, so deprived of visual stimulation that you'd read the ingredients to the little toothpaste tube they give you. Eventually (after you've memorised the anti DVT instructions, determined the percentage of the brochureware that was printed on recycled paper, and scoured the passengers around you for any sign of interest, you pick up the magazine from the seatback in front.

I fly to NY from London about once every 5 weeks, so my guess is that's where I saw it. Next time I'm over, I may even come for a spin :)
